Going post-truth with data science

I enjoy talking; I enjoy working with numbers; combine the two and you get a data scientist, curious as a cat.

This blog is going to be about how to use data for fun and/or for understanding what is popular. This blog is not about the complex truth, but what people perceive as truth or what's the opinion.

For example, cow dung isn't any better than ground coffee to shield from radioactivity. But there is a faction of people who believe that cow dung can be used to protect from radioactivity. This blog isn't to explore the science behind th idea; it is to explore people's opinion. Which people? Mostly from India, and more importantly those who use internet.

Also, I don't want to get too technical with data scraping; this will primarily be my "fun" work. Data used here will be gathered by tools like Google Trends or readily available libraries in Python for scraping data.

On the other hand, I will try to get into statistical details about reading data; whether readily available from Google Trends or anywhere else.
